Seadoone to amalgamate with Winkle PO
If you have a box at Seadoone, note the box numbers will remain the same, but move to Winkelpruit PO.

From next week the Seadoone Post Office will merge with the Winkelspruit Post Office (PO).
“The SA PO has started to optimise its branch network. As part of this, on Saturday, 19 October, the Seadoone PO will merge with the Winkelspruit PO, which is situated just five kilometres away at shop 37 on the ground level of Kingsburgh Centre,” said communication specialist, Nobuhle Njapha.
If you have a box at Seadoone, note the box numbers will remain the same, but move to Winkelpruit PO. The box number will not change unless you want to use another office for mail collection. You will then need to speak to the branch manager who will assist you further.
Apart from the Winkelspruit PO, the Amanzimtoti PO, which can be found in the CBD, is also available to local residents. “There are enough tellers at the Winkelspruit and Amanzimtoti Post Offices to make sure that waiting times for customers are acceptable.

“Where branch amalgamations are considered, the first preference is to consider a nearby PO. Only branches in urban areas are considered for amalgamation and no rural POs are amalgamated,” said Njapha.
