Edu Paw ransacked and robbed twice
The aim of the organisation is to instill a culture of love and compassion for dogs.

ANIMAL educational organisation, Edu Paw endured a second break-in in two weeks on Sunday, October 31. The premises based at Amanzimtoti SPCA was ransacked and robbed of various items needed for 2022 classes.
“When the container was broken into they were very specific about what they took. Our biggest need right now is collars and leads. (We can get the collars and leads through a wholesaler.) The brushes and tennis balls that we would give the children for the next graduation were also taken. We have gratefully received donations of dog food but we also need tinned food. Dog shampoo, towels and fleecy blankets for the dogs were also taken,” said the founder of the organisation, Cathy Keegan.
The thieves again gained access by breaking one of the panels of the pre-cast wall and broke the window bars of the container a second time.
“We really need strong and secure burglar guards. We wish to thank Modcrete for repairing the wall. We also thank Amanzimtoti Glass and Aluminum for their prompt and kind assistance. We thank the community for coming to our aid. We appreciate your kindness and support. If anyone would like to donate toward this educational programme we would be so thankful for your support.”
