Suspects arrested for armed robbery in Amanzimtoti
The crime allegedly took place at the intersection Umdoni and Fynn Road.
TWO men were arrested in Amanzimtoti on Thursday, January 6 after they allegedly held up a woman at gunpoint and robbed her of her cellphone.

According to the Community Crime Prevention Organisation Amanzimtoti (CCPO), the incident happened near the intersection of Umdoni and Fynn Road. CCPO said the weapon was later revealed to be a toy gun.
After the alarm was raised by the victim, security officers who were patrolling the area responded. The CCPO supervisor, Isaac Dindi, and his crew caught the first suspect.
Officers from ET Rapid Response caught the second suspect.
The suspects were handed over to Amanzimtoti SAPS for investigation.
