Man shot and killed in Warner Beach
It appears to be a hit as the shooter fled immediately after.

A MAN was shot and killed at a filling station in Warner Beach this morning.
According to an onlooker, the paramedics tried to save the man’s life, however, he succumbed to his injuries.
The victim’s vehicle, a single-cab Toyota bakkie, which was riddled with bullet holes, is still at the scene. Numerous spent cartridges, which appear to be from a high-calibre rifle, can be seen on the ground, next to the vehicle.

According to the bystander, the incident has all indications of a planned hit, since the shooter fled immediately after the shooting. “The victim had just parked in a parking bay when shots apparently rang out,” he said.
The reason behind the killing is unknown at this stage. However, the police and other emergency services are currently on the scene.
The victim’s identity has not yet been established. The crime scene is still active.
