Founded in August 2019, Wanderers Haven is a faith-based non-profit organisation dedicated to supporting people in need. Alongside providing daily meals through its feeding scheme, the organisation has become a beacon of hope in the Amanzimtoti community.

Reflecting on the journey, Sharon Swanepoel shared how the vision for Wanderers Haven was first sparked in her heart in 2016. When she met Johnny in 2018 and discovered their shared values, the couple joined forces to bring the idea to life.

“It’s been an incredible, challenging, heart-breaking yet joyful five years. We’ve sacrificed a lot, but for us, it’s all about serving the Lord. Without Him, we are nothing,” said Sharon.

Johnny also expressed his gratitude to everyone who has been part of Wanderers Haven’s journey.

“To every sponsor, volunteer and individual who believes in our mission and has walked this path with us – thank you for making this milestone possible,” he said.
