Road floods near Galleria Mall

Motorists are urged to exercise caution in the area, and the South African Weather Service has issued severe weather alerts for today and tomorrow.

TODAY’S heavy rain (September 20) resulted in flooding on the N2 north carriageway opposite Galleria Mall, at the Moss Kolnik Drive exit ramp.

Councillor André Beetge urged motorists and other road users to exercise caution or seek alternative routes.

The South African Weather Service has issued severe weather alerts for today and September 21, for heavy rain and thundershowers along the coast. Localised flooding may be experienced in other low-lying areas.
