The home’s senior supervisor, Greta Hlongwa, accepted the hats and expressed her gratitude.
In July, Desire donated 98 beanies to Operation Bobbi Bear children’s home, which she knitted between December 2021 and June.
“The Jona Vaughan donation was knitted in July and August,” added Desire.
She said she decided to knit the hats after realising that the vulnerable children in both homes needed something to warm them up in winter.
