Attempted hijacking in Warner Beach

The incident happened at a Kingsway Road intersection.

Shooting from an attempted hijacking was reported in Warner Beach late this afternoon, Saturday, December 3.
According to a statement from the Community Crime Prevention Community Amanzimtoti (CCPO) the incident happened at around 16:00 at the Kingsway and Nelson Palmer roads intersection.

“Armed [individuals] attempted to hijack a Toyota Fortuna. Shots were fired and one person was injured. The suspects crashed the Fortuna and fled,” said the statement.
