Children receive Christmas gifts from Hearts of Toti
The non-profit organisation handed out 82 gifts to children, and 50 food hampers to families in need.
AS a means of spreading Christmas cheer in the community, Hearts of Toti handed out gifts and food hampers to families in need.
Every year the non-profit organisation tries to gift children within the community, whose parents are struggling financially. They hand out Christmas gifts, party packs filled with goodies, cupcakes and cooldrinks. For many children, this will be the only gift they receive.

Founders of the organisation, Shanay Kapp and Alta Erasmus, thank Richard Vliet for again taking on the role of Father Christmas. He handed out the gifts and listened to all the little ones Christmas wishes.
“This year we handed out 82 gifts to children between the ages of one and 17 years old. Nine children will be receiving gifts in the new year. The joy and appreciation is indescribable,” said Kapp.
At the same time, they distributed over 50 food hampers to families in need. “This would not be possible without our sponsors and we would like to thank each and every person that contributed,” said Erasmus.
They said Amanzimtoti is filled with amazing people and they have a wonderful team of volunteers that deserve so much credit for all their time and effort. They thanked Joulene Klopper, Judy Fox, Therese van Niekerk, Angela Schorn and Taylor van Wyk.
