Temporary road closure in Amanzimtoti

The road closure is expected to take effect from November 28.

WARD 97 councillor, André Beetge, has announced that a section of Inyoni Rocks Drive will be closed for two weeks, starting on November 28. Closures will start from Beach Road up towards Kingsway Road.

“This is to facilitate the installation of gabions and retaining walls between Inyoni Rocks Road and the Cascade Gardens complex. Traffic will instead be signed towards Carlyle Street as the alternative route between Beach Road and Kingsway Road,” said Beetge.

He added that the appointed contractors are confident that the work will be complete prior to the festive season influx.
