Decomposing body found at Isipingo home

It is not clear when the man was killed or who killed him.

THE police are investigating a case of murder after the decomposed body of a 46-year-old man was found in his swimming pool in Isipingo on December 2.

Provincial police spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Nqobile Gwala said police from the Search and Rescue Unit were called out to the Baracuda Drive home after reports of a partially decomposed body in a waterless swimming pool.

“A black refuse bag was wrapped around his head. The body was recovered and handed over to members of Isipingo SAPS. A murder docket was opened,” said Gwala.

It was not immediately clear when the man had died or who had killed him.
