Service delivery protest erupts in Amanzimtoti

Residents are irate as service delivery continues to be interrupted as a result of the municipality's strike.

EARLIER today (March 6), protestors caused a ruckus on Wanda Cele Road, near Zulwini Gardens, due to service delivery issues.

This is according to PT Alarms’ spokesperson Dhevan Govindasamy who said that SAPS and PT Alarms’ tactical units are at the scene. “The scene has been cleared for now, but protestors are very irate,” he said.

The community is urged to be vigilant when travelling in the area.
