Toti Lions Club spoils young hospice patients with goodie bags

The Toti Lions Club collected toys to enable Khanya Hospice to spread some festive cheer to its young hospice patients ahead of Christmas.

THE CEO of Khanya Hospice, Neil McDonald, was pleasantly surprised when Christa Human, project chairperson of the Lions Club of Amanzimtoti, knocked on the door of the hospice office with presents for the younger hospice patients recently.

The hospice’s Thabile Dlamini said they could now make up surprise goodie bags to distribute among the younger patients in their care during the first two weeks in December. “Thank you so kindly to those who contributed to the the great work Khanya Hospice is doing. The area we cover is very big and may you all be blessed,” she said.

McDonald also said his final goodbyes at the end of November. “Thank you to all the hospice supporters. Do not stop with your good deeds now that I have retired,” said Neil. “Continue to support this worthy cause.”
