Lianè was diagnosed with neuroblastoma, a type of cancer, when she was eight-months-old, and has been receiving treatment ever since.

In a statement, Hope for Lianè said the day will be filled with exciting challenges, thrilling obstacles, and teamwork, all to raise crucial funds needed for Liane’s stem-cell treatment.

“Form your team of four or five people and race through a series of fun and challenging tasks throughout Amanzimtoti. Solve clues, complete physical and mental challenges, and work together to make it to the finish line,” it said.

The race will start and end at Lords and Legends. There will be prizes for the winning teams, as well as the team that comes dressed to impress, and the team with the most spirit.

Entry is R250 per person and one team member needs to be the designated driver. All proceeds will be going towards Liané’s medical costs. To book your team, send a WhatsApp message to 062 445 5061, send an email to amazing.race.za@gmail.com or message the Amanzimtoti – Hope for Lianè fundraiser Amazing Race Facebook page.
