Sandra Govender, social worker for the NPO, said that from its first steps eight decades ago until now, KCFW has protected, nurtured and touched countless lives.

“This milestone belongs to you, our community. The parents, caregivers, volunteers, partners and every hand that has helped build a caring community. Thank you for walking this journey with us, for trusting us with your children and families’ hopes, and for championing love, protection and opportunity for every individual. Let’s keep the momentum going, and together write the next chapters of hope, resilience and joy for generations to come. Happy 80 years of welfare,” said Govender.
