Facilitated by Ancha Geldenhuys, AfriForum’s first aid instructor, the hands-on training equipped members with essential lifesaving skills, including patient stabilisation and severe bleeding control.
Rina Marais, AfriForum’s neighbourhood watch secretary, said the training aims to improve emergency preparedness within the community and ensure that members are better equipped to respond when every second counts. The organisation thanked all participants for their commitment and RE/MAX Toti for hosting the event.

“AfriForum will continue to empower our neighbourhood members with basic training. A basic firearm skills training is also planned for community members,” said Marais.
