The sophomore edition of Amanzimtoti Lions Club's hit car show, Cars by the River, is expected to bring in lots of excitement.

PETROL heads are revving into gear as the much-anticipated second edition of Amanzimtoti Lions Club’s Cars by the River will be held at the Amanzimtoti Civic Centre on September 6.

Lions president Chris Stange said the event is geared towards the whole family. Car and motorcycle enthusiasts can enjoy an expansive display of classic cars and bikes, while children can take to a dedicated play area with rides, paintball and face painting, and visitors can enjoy an extensive flea market.

Delicious foods will be on offer, in addition to a host of artisanal items, live music and a beer tent.

Ticket prices for the day for adults are R40 and children and pensioners enter for R20; secure parking is available for R10.
