THE 2013/2014 instalment of the South Coast Sun’s annual bridal competition wrapped up at a function at the newspaper’s Doonside offices, where the winner and runners-up were announced on Thursday, 26 June.
This year’s bride of the year winner is Melanie Slier, who was the September monthly winner.
Her first runner-up was Jeanine du Toit (December bride) and second runner-up was Claire Wilson (November bride).
The readers’ choice winner was Laurian Pullock (June bride).
The judges – made up of the competition sponsors – were hard-pressed to choose their winner, as all the finalists shone. However all agreed that Melanie was a dazzling bride.
