SATURDAY, 28 NOVEMBER: SPCA Amanzimtoti will be hosting its last adoption day for the year. They encourage the public to look at all the lovely pets up for adoption. The dog walkers will be there to assist with any queries you may have. Tasty breakfast rolls and cold drinks will be on sale. Browse through the shop and get your Christmas shopping done early. Open from 9am until noon.

SUNDAY, 29 NOVEMBER: Flame Lily Foundation (incorporating the Rhodesia Association of South Africa) holds its 32nd annual Rhodie golf day at Amanzimtoti Country Club followed by a social braai with music by Graham Boyle and Spider Murch. Proceeds of the golf day go towards supporting the Rhodesian pensioners. The braai will start at about 1pm, straight after the golf. A certain number of braai packs will be on sale and sadza, gravy and salads will be available for a small donation. There are still a few spaces open for fourballs. WEDNESDAY, 2 DECEMBER: Mountain Backpackers Club hosts a beach walk from Umdloti to Umhlanga over a distance of about 12,5km on sand.
