A State of Stance SA makes its long awaited return

A State of Stance SA is a fusion of the car, music and lifestyle elements that puts South Africa on display

The weekend of 6 and 7 August sets the bar for the South African Motor Industry when Gas Magazine hosts the second event, A State of Stance SA.

This year they are doing something that has never been done. They will have drift activations at the Pavilion Mall, courtesy of XS Promotions. XS Promotions are responsible for hosting the National Supadrift Series and with the combination of Spin Fest and Rolling Burnouts the burning rubber action will have the crowds entertained for hours.

Not to be outdone, the Trike Drifters take to the action zone to show off their trike drifting skills.

For bike fanatics, The Le Riche Brothers (currently ranked second and third in the US) will pull off the most nail-biting extreme trial biking and stunts on custom ramps and rigs.

It’s only fitting to follow up with XDL Stunt’s bike performance display to round up this bike show. XDL will be bring their wheelie bike, so patrons can test their skills popping a ‘wheelie’ safely.

A selection of SA’s finest and most spectacular cars on exhibition will showcase the quality of cars that South Africa has to offer. Cars from Cape Town, Johannesburg, Kimberly and various other parts of South Africa will be in convoy to Durban for A State of Stance SA.

Spectators of all ages are welcome to join the cheering of the SA Strong Man Contest.

There is something for the whole family – for the young ones or the ones young at heart the racing simulators and RC Drifting are a definite must do, not forgetting face-painting for the tots. Gym fanatics can meet the RipSthetic team for the latest in health and fitness.

Keep an eye out for the really talented individuals portraying their story through graffiti art and sketch artistry.

A show of this magnitude would not be complete without some of the best proudly South African artists performing on the massive 50 metre stage taking you into the late night. Talented DJs and artists will come together to create an electric atmosphere only found at A State of Stance SA.
