Join ‘spooktacular’ Halloween programme at Crocworld
The centre’s fiercest fanged creatures will also play their part this Halloween.
Ghosts and ghouls will come out to play at the fourth annual edition of the Crocworld Conservation Centre Halloween Night Event on Saturday, 26 October. This year’s spooktacular event, endorsed by Sapphire Coast Tourism, is themed ‘The Asylum vs Your Worst Nightmare’ and has a frighteningly full programme on the cards.
There will be a clown on stilts and folding animal balloons from 3.30pm to 6.30pm as well as jumping castles for the entire evening. Then, from 4.30pm to 7.30pm, there will be seven trick-or-treating stations set up around the centre, so bring along your treat bag. For a really heart-thumping, teeth-chattering, bone-rattling experience, there will be two scare zones, ‘The Asylum’ and ‘Your Worst Nightmare’ will be open from 3.30pm to 7pm, and again from 8pm to 11pm.

The centre’s fiercest fanged creatures will also play their part this Halloween. Bring your torches and enjoy a self-guided tour of the centre between 3.30pm and 10pm, stopping by to witness a special night-time crocodile feeding and talk at 9pm.
The on-site restaurant, Fish Eagle Café, will offer a wide variety of different food stalls, a SAB Beer Garden and Cocktail Shack, open from 3.30pm until 11pm. While the children screech with fright and delight, parents can relax while enjoying live entertainment provided by quality musicians, DJ Michelle, Freddy L and DJ Syzo B.
This event wouldn’t be possible without its generous sponsors. Crocworld Conservation Centre extends its thanks to Food Lovers Market, South Coast Signs, Carla Comms 2 Way Radios, GIS, The Halloween Store, Scalliwags Costume Hire and Umdoni Private Ambulance. Special thanks also go out to all the sponsors of this year’s ‘Best Dressed’ competition.
