Residents have their say on social media

People have their say about social media platforms.

The COURIER asked residents about the role social media plays in their lives.

This is what they had to say:

MATOME THOKA: “Through social media I am able to promote my business that has just bloomed. I also use it to connect with new people.”
KHENSANI MATIBO: “I love using social media platforms because it frees one’s mind and through it
I am able to connect with my long-distance relatives. I believe social media platforms enable young people’s minds to do great.”
JOSEPH MAKUMALA: “Young people spend so much time on these gadgets which unsettles me. But, as long as the time spent on social media is for a good cause it’s fine.”
BUHLE NDLOVU: “I am in matric and through social media I am able to communicate with previous matriculants for information. Without social media platforms I would be struggling to do my school work.”
