Mossie Primary School held its Honours Day where they acknowledged the best learners in Grade Four, Five, Six and Seven in academics and sports on November 21.

School principal Michael Siaga congratulated all the learners and talked about the progress the school has made since 2017.

“We are here to celebrate our own Grade Four, Five, Six and Seven learners and we are happy that we supported them until this point.

“The school has made some milestone strides, which include the security guard at the gate, the sick bay for learners, FNB helping us established the library and Standard Bank helping us stock the books in the library.

“Moving forward, we need to work together with the parents to nurture these young leaders,” he said.

He also presented Tyreez Cloete, a Grade Seven learner, with a Principal’s trophy. This trophy is awarded to the most outstanding learner who was with the school since Grade R.
