Smokie end SA tour on a high
Smokie end their South African tour a virtually a high note.
BOKSBURG – “This was the best performance I have seen Smokie delivered and I have toured with them in the country,” said Frans Swart from Lefra Productions at the Press Conference after their Big Top Arena performance on Friday October 4 at Carnival City.
“I have never seen a crowd who interact with them as this one on Friday evening. It was great to be part of this tour and I think they deserve this accolade from our South African audiences.”
Smokie visit South Africa on their world tour “Take A Minute” and had performances throughout the country with the final evenings at the Big Top Arena on Friday and Saturday October 4 and 5.
This is their third tour to South Africa and they promised to be back for more. Lefra Production and Carnival City made their tour to Johannesburg and other parts of the country possible and created a lot of interest in the public.
