TURFFONTEIN – Peermont Emperors Palace Charity Mile took place on Saturday November 2 where Caxton Newspapers were the Media Partners.
Royal Zulu Warrior with jockey Karl Zechner showed his pace just finishing ahead of the smart field to win the ultimate prize money for his charity Maphanzela Primary Aftercare Centre.
16 horses, 16 celebrities and 16 charities were all excited on the day to see who will be first over the finishing line. All charities walked away with their share of the prize money. The Charity Mile is growing in popularity each and every year. Southern Courier, Comaro Chronicle and Alberton Record as well as Looklocal were Media partners together with the local newspapers from Caxton East.
