Grade 4 learners from Marist Brothers Linmeyer wrote letters to Archbishop Desmond Tutu to applaud him, for his dedication, in saving the environment.
Imagine their surprise when, on November 5, they received a reply from Archbishop Desmond Tutu himself! In his letter, he referred to the Grade 4’s as VIPs and reiterated that they too could make a difference in our world. What an honour and a privilege it was to have Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu personally answer their letter. This has certainly encouraged Marist Brothers children to look at ways they too can make a difference.
