One million Rand design bursaries for creative students
The bursary competition is about being unique and bringing people together.

JOHANNESBURG – Inscape Education Group is giving away R1 000 000 in design bursaries to help young, aspiring creative people and innovators pursue a career in design.
The bursary competition is about being unique and bringing people together.
Entrants are encouraged to adopt a new way of looking at the people, places and possibilities in their communities through reinventing physical spaces, starting social initiatives, hosting local events or starting trends.
Ambitious, driven and passionate potential young creative persons must represent a solution to bring communities together in any format. This may include drawing, building, crafting, photography, painting or video.
The proposal can be realistic, fictional or abstract, as long as it is unique and brings people together.
Entrants should enter online at https://inscape.ac.za/bursary/ and drop off or post their entries to their nearest Inscape campus before April 30.
Four bursaries per campus will be awarded in total:
· First Prize: A 50 per cent bursary for three years including Value Adds*
· Second Prize: A 25 per cent bursary for three years including Value Adds*
· Third Prize: A 10 per cent bursary for three years including Value Adds*
· Fourth Prize: A 10 per cent bursary for three years including Value Adds*
*Laptop/Macbook, first year preliminary stationery and equipment, first year textbooks, courseware, software and licenses, WIFI, online research subscription
The competition is open to students interested in a Design Degree, enrolling for the first year in 2015.
Design thinking is the foundation of the modern thought process and Inscape is looking for individuals with the potential to create the future of unique thinking.
