Three injured in Glenanda road accident

Paramedics arrive in the nick of time to provide medical treatment to three injured.

GLENANDA – ER24 medics responded to the call of an accident on Rifle Range Road in Glenanda on March 17.

Paramedics found the family sitting in shock on the side of the road. Three people had been injured.

According to ER24, the injured parties, two adults and one child, were immediately assieted. “All three patients were immobilised on spine boards before transportation to a nearby hospital for further treatment,” said ER24.

Witnesses told paramedics that the child was ejected in the collision, which occurred when another vehicle apparently swerved into the oncoming lane and T-boned it, causing it to overturn.

The cause of the collision is not known and investigations are under way.
