Crime increases in Glenvista

There have been more break-ins and attempted break-ins at townhouse complexes in Glenvista over the past few days.

GLENVISTA – At a complex in Wolkeberg Street, Glenvista, three black males in a white Corsa bakkie VVL770GP (false) with two ladders on canopy and a white Cortina bakkie were spotted.
The suspects broke into a unit and were trying to get into a second unit when they were discovered by the resident. The suspects were armed and fled the scene.
On Tuesday evening April 8 suspects broke into a unit at a complex in Vallot Street, Glenvista Ext 4. One unit was broken into and electrical items stolen. The suspects broke out bricks in the surrounding wall at the back of the complex. This isn’t the first time this has happened.

“Whatever security measures we put in, it’s just never enough. These criminals will find a way,” said one of the residents.
