Kenilworth Market SuperSpar had a big revamp

JOHANNESBURG SOUTH – Kenilworth’s Market SuperSpar, which has become an outing for Johannesburg residents, undergone a massive revamp to continue upgrading its standards and services for customers.
The shop is run by the team of husband and wife Mario and Charlene Stephanou, alongside hardworking managers and brother Mike Stephanou.
The Stephanous have been running the shop since 1991 and they are well known to residents of the area. They have never taken a break and are still eager to go ever forward.
“About 10 years ago when we revamped the shop for the first time, we started reading the market, looked at the demand, and we felt that we should do something special in this kind of market we are in.
“We believe that this store has become an outing for the community, hence we put a lot into the store and regenerated all of our departments.
“We extended the size of the shop, with major emphasis on butchery, bakery, fish, and prepared meals. We also adjusted to the market around us and the market further away from us,” said Mario Stephanou.
The current revamp started about a year ago with the building being extended for about four months, and the inside being revamped for another four months.
The entire shop has been refurbished and today it has anything one may expect to find in a store and more.
There are more than enough tills, which are always occupied with cashiers to avoid unnecessary queues.
The team has new concepts pending, to be introduced to customers at the right time and right seasons.
The shop has the most awesome Bakery, Kioski, and Butchery and a strict principle to keep products fresh, clean and neatly organised.
Customers had great things to say about the store’s fast food, which is popular for its quality and fresh taste.
The shop has a Tops liquor store, ATMs and a lovely parking area available to customers who love to take their time when shopping.
The shop is loved by its customers for its accessibility, as it is located at the heart of the busy Main Street and open from 06:30 till 21:00.
