Women and Men Against Child Abuse had a workshop for Crèches

"It was an over all successful session and a good way to kick off child protection week"

JOHANNESBURG SOUTH – FOLLOWING the shocking incident about the La Rochelle lady who was arrested for tying and gagging a toddler at a daycare centre, Women and Men Against Child Abuse hosted a workshop for crèches.

The workshop, hosted at the Champion Crèches in Booysens, discussed child abuse, school safety and risk assessment on abuse.

“The informative workshop was attended by the staff of the crèches, officers from the Booysens Police Station and Victim Empowerment Centre. It was an overall successful session and a good way to kick off child protection week, which starts soon,” said Yushene Rajkuar, Training and Development Manager for WMACA.
