Booysens continues growing

There are also employment opportunities for the people of Booysens

JOHANNESBURG SOUTH – Booysens is a busy suburb with a rich and influential commercial value. Industrial sites and small businesses continue to bloom from one corner to another.

Although it is an old suburb with a rich history, Booysens has a Johannesburg CBD feel, making it one of South Africa’s most popular urban suburbs.

The suburb on its own is a convenient and easily accessible location. Residents have access to many facilities that other residents from different suburbs can only wish they had.

Booysens has a police station, an SPCA, a fire department, the Booysens Hotel and City Power.

Earlier this year, the Joburg mayor Parks Tau launched the Selby Village project in Booysens.

Selby Village is a dignified hostel built by the well established JOSHCO company, which strives to provide people with adequate units they can call a home and where they can live with their families.

Booysens also offers a wide range of industrial sites and development is always on the way, be it government implemented or private.

There are also employment opportunities for some of the people from Booysens, who simply walk a few minutes to their places of employment.

But Booysens is more than just a growing community, Booysens is also a united community. The neighbours know each other and read the same Caxton community newspaper.

At Caxton, we employ humans to generate daily fresh news, not AI intervention. Happy reading!
