Thaba Ya Batswana goes all out for seniors
A wonderful morning with delicious food was what 25 women from a mission in Eldorado Park were treated to, courtesy of Thaba Ya Batswana.
THABA YA BATSWANA – Coert Grobbelaar, an opera tenor and Rudi Geldenhuis who accompanied him, entertained the ladies, singing a song for each of the delectable freshly baked quiches which were being served!
It was such a fun morning and chatting to Coert, he explained why he was thrilled to see the return of the quiche!

“It was always my favourite lunch time treat here at Thaba and for some reason they were removed from the menu. I complained to my good friend Reuben Louw and in my honour he has put the ‘quiche’ back on to the menu. Not only this, but I’ve had a quiche named after me, Tenor Coert’s Quiche, which is made with smoked salmon and cream cheese, delish,” laughed Coert.

“Thank you to Thaba Ya Batswana for the lovely morning and lunch. It’s been such a treat for us,” said one of the women.
