Fairy Godmother Project is here to help matric learners

One of the projects of the EPIC Foundation is the Fairy Godmother Project.

JOHANNESBURG SOUTH –  “We have assisted several schools already during this year to provide matric farewell dresses to girls who would not have attended their dance, due to lack of funds to afford the outfit. To date we have assisted just over 200 girls.

“The girls are supplied with a dress, shoes, evening bag and jewellery and where possible also cosmetics.
“We are now looking to see if there are any other schools in the area which still have to hold their matric dance and if they have any girls who need assistance with a dress, etc, so they can attend the dance.

“We do have quite a few dresses, but if anyone has evening bags and jewellery, we would appreciate a donation,” said Alta McMaster (EPIC Foundation).

If you know of someone who could do with some help to go to the “ball” or if you’d like to donate evening bags and jewellery, please phone Alta 082 940 6230 or 011 209 4176.
