Boys rape kids in a church yard

15- and 17-year-old boys raped younger boys in a South Hills church.

JOHANNESBURG SOUTH – South Hills parents were shocked to discover that their young boys were being sexually assaulted by two other young boys, aged 15 and 17.

According to the mothers the young boys were being raped from the beginning of the year in a church yard as there is a wall and adults could not see inside.

The parents only found out about this on Thursday December 4, after they caught one of the boys (9), who was being assaulted by two others, and trying to do the same thing to a younger girl (4).

A parents meeting was called by the mothers to discuss what the nine-year-old boy had revealed, and that was after finding out there were other young boys who were also sexually assaulted.

According to the mothers, who told the story from what the little boys revealed, the boys jumped over the wall of the community church into the yard, where everything happened. In some cases, the young boys were assaulted in their homes while the parents were away.

The 15- and 17-year-old boys were arrested by the Moffatview police on the same Thursday, but were released the same day.

One of the assaulted boys was taken to the Hillbrow Clinic and two boys to the Braamfontein Clinic, where they were examined and treated.

Three cases were opened and are being investigated by the Child Protection Unite as the parties involved are minors.

Nonetheless, the mothers do not seek any harsh punishment for the 15- and 17-year-old boys, they want the boys to get proper and professional help, because they see them wandering the streets as if nothing happened.

The parents also wish to see the wall of the church replaced with a see-through fence, because a lot of things happen behind the church. Some of the adults hide stolen valuables inside the yard and remove them before anyone from the church could see a thing as it opens on specific days and times.

“I am appealing to our community to please look after their little ones this festive season,” added Ward 57 Councillor Faeeza Chame, who also had a meeting with the parents.
