Response to letter about premises
Tupa claims the complainant left the premises in a filthy state, hence the deductions on the deposit.
The complainant is ill advised and malicious in that she does not disclose that the full deposit was R3 590 and that she had to pay it in two equal instalments, because she could not afford to pay it once-off. The rental plus utilities came to R4 340.
We wish to state categorically herein that if one adds the half deposit of R1 795 plus R4 340.08 (rent plus services) it adds up to R6 135.08, which was for the first month and the second month.
It is clear from the foregoing that it is not correct that the complainant paid a deposit of R12 000 but an amount of R3 590 paid in two instalments together with the current month rent and provisional utilities.
The complainant does not disclose further that they left the premises in a filthy state, hence why there were deductions on the deposit.
The complainant does not further disclose that she never informed the office that her other bank account was closed, hence why payment was made in that account.
The complaint has never laid any complaint of dissatisfaction of the state of the premises during their occupancy. It is therefore an afterthought to now complain of our services.
The rest of the contents of the email are vehemently denied, and we wish to emphasise that we provide an A Class service to our landlords and tenants.
