New developments pending at Grace Kombuis

A new school is in the works for children in Kibler Park and surrounding areas.

JOHANNESBURG SOUTH – Residents in Kibler Park have seen activity on a piece of property, owned by a church called The Grace Kombuis, situated on Frederick Place.

Zuraya Said, a resident in the area, said: “It seems that there is going to be a school or crèche development, yet we were not given any communication thereof. It used to belong to the church.”

PR councillor Peter Stewart said the land belonged to a church, which was in the process of putting up a crèche.

Reverend Heinie Berner told the CHRONICLE: “Building a crèche is the plan. We are working with a private school in the South. The crèche will be open to all residents at the beginning of next year.”
