Ormonde rollover accident leaves ten injured

Exact detail surrounding the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain the subject of a police investigation.

TEN people were injured following an accident on the M1 near Rifle Range Drive in Ormonde on Saturday evening June 20.

Netcare 911 paramedics and other services arrived at the scene and found that a minibus and motor vehicle were involved in the crash. The minibus overturned several times.

Upon assessment of all the occupants, paramedics found that ten people sustained injuries ranging from moderate to serious.  The injured patients were treated at the scene and transported to hospital for further medical care.

Exact detail surrounding the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain the subject of a police investigation.

The occupant of the motor vehicle were not injured during the accident.
