Join the Directorate Enforcing Older Persons Rights (DEOPR) charity golf day at Southdowns Country Club on October 29 to support elder care in The Hill.

A charity golf day will take place on October 29 to raise funds in support of the Directorate Enforcing Older Persons Rights (DEOPR) Care Facility for the Aged in The Hill.

The fundraising event is organised in support of the facility, situated on Southern Klipriviersberg Road in The Hill, formerly known as JAFTA.

The event will be held at Southdowns Country Club at 70 Alabaster Drive in Mayfield Park, with tee-off scheduled for 11:30.

The Directorate Enforcing Older Persons Rights (DEOPR) and the Community Policing Forum (CPF) Sector 3 Mondeor Precinct are involved in the initiative.

Golfers and supporters can participate by booking a four-ball for R2 500. The package includes 18 holes of golf, a halfway house, a gift bag and dinner.

Businesses and individuals can also support the cause through sponsorships starting at R2 500.

Those interested in booking a four-ball or enquiring about sponsorship opportunities can contact Talya De Lima at 072 969 5433 or Natasha Naude at 064 500 3408. Enquiries can also be sent to amenda@deopr.co.za.

The event offers community members and businesses an opportunity to support the care facility through a day of golf and fundraising.
