When chips are up

Sue Lubbe and Friends have embarked on a painting project and require paint donations.

JOHANNESBURG SOUTH – 15 000kg of frozen chips were distributed to senior citizens in the South. McCain Foods South Africa released the donation to other companies who in turn distributed the chips to several organisations in need.

Organisations who received the donations include Christway Ministries, Meals on Wheels, Harvey Cohen Centre, Reuven Senior Complex, Bellavista Senior Complex, Moffatview Senior Complex, Orlando Orphanage in Soweto and other organisations in Walkerville and Ennerdale.

Sue Lubbe and Friends said networking is the name of the game and when you have access to a network you can make a significant difference in the lives of needy people.

“Clr Sidney Radebe also distributed chips to his areas in need, thank you Clr Radebe. Leadership means even delivering chips when necessary! Every volunteer that worked with us on the day, each of you are truly inspirational, unloading the truck and ensuring that our seniors received their chips. Gratitude from the seniors is always very refreshing when they are so humble and grateful for donations that they receive. It helps with the burden of the high expenses they have to endure,” Sue said.
