Drunk drivers nabbed

MOFFATVIEW – SAPS and JMPD officers arrested 22 drunk drivers within a couple of hours, between 21:00 and 02:00, on Friday, September 11.

The officers held a joint operation in order to clamp down on drunk driving. One group of officers patrolled between Turf Road and Sixth Street in La Rochelle while another group of officers patrolled Geranium Street in Rosettenville.

Residents of the South are encouraged to refrain from drinking and driving as it endangers a lot of lives.
