BASSONIA – SAPS and Johannesburg Flying Squad are presently on a crime scene (Monday September 21) on the corner of Pieter Ackroyd Avenue and Comaro Street, Bassonia.
Three suspected house robbers have been arrested and a fourth suspect is still on the run on foot. Residents are advised to be cautious and not approach the suspect if they see him.
The suspects were driving a blue VW Polo and were apprehended by SAPS Flying Squad. One illegal AK47 was recovered.
