Princes and princesses for a day

Thaba Eco Hotel began its community outreach to schools in Johannesburg South last year and those schools who book with them for a matric dance are given the opportunity to choose a matric learner/s to receive a gift package.

KLIPRIVIER NATURE  ESTATE –  This is given to a learner/s for going the extra mile in their school and who is deserving of assistance with their matric dance.

The special package includes a guest room at Thaba Eco Hotel, where the learner can enjoy a room free of charge to the get ready for the dance, as well as many other sponsored treats.

Sponsors include, Pam Golding, Epic Foundation, Sinzinani Spa, Nail Studio Bassonia, Paul James, Chantel Nel, Audi The Glen, photographer Ernie Pretorius and Arlex Perfumes.

Up to now this year six schools’ learners were recognised, Kgosa Mbhele and Nokwanda Dlodlo (Grace Trinity), Michelle Smith and Dwayne Espach (Hoêrskool Dinamika) and Nikita Paulsen and Francois Joubert (Alberton High School).

The six learners were over the moon with their “gift package” and each of them was treated like royalty for a day.
