Crocodile tears child from mother’s hand
The five-year-old was reportedly holo mother's hand as they crossed the Nyatsime River on their way home.

ZIMBABWE – News 24 reported that a crocodile tore a five-year-old away from her mother in a terrifying attack in Harare’s dormitory town of Chitungwiza.
The five-year-old was holding onto her mother’s hand as they crossed the Nyatsime River on their way home on Friday when the crocodile grabbed the child’s leg according to News24. News24 who also reported that crocodiles are rarely seen in Harare or in Chitungwiza, which is about 20km away from the capital.
The mother is said to have screamed for help after the attack which happened in shallow water where one would not expect to see a crocodile. The body of the young girl was only found in reeds on Saturday morning.
