Ashrama to celebrate Deepavali

The Ashrama has since its inception rendered yeoman service to disadvantaged communities throughout the country for the past 32 years

JOHANNESBURG SOUTH – The Sri Adi Shankara Ashrama in Winchester Hills is excited to be observing its first Deepavali Satsanga and Lakshmi Pooja on November 11.

For the past 32 years the Ashrama has rendered yeoman services to disadvantaged communities across the country through feeding schemes, blanket distribution projects, Deepavali grocery hamper distribution programmes and a host of other socio-humanitarian outreach projects.

Sri Swami Shivashankarananda, Sri Swami Shraddhananda Mataji, the officials and devotees of the Ashrama extend an invitation to all interested members of the community to attend the Satsanga from 07:00 to 8:30.

The Ashrama takes this wonderful opportunity of wishing all its devotees, well-wishers and supporters a most blessed Deepavali and a happy and prosperous New Year to all the Gujerati speaking members of the Hindu community.
