Dr Du Preez thanks everyone

HOËRSKOOL Die Fakkel principal, Dr Piet du Preez, has decided to retire at the end of this year.

He served as a principal at the school since 1998. Dr du Preez started his career as an educator at Hoërskool Alberton in 1975 where he was later Head of Department (HOD) for Afrikaans and deputy principal.

“I enjoyed all these years of involvement in education very much. Thank you to all the learners, parents and education officials for the wonderful value they added to my life, and especially Die Fakkel Hoërskool,” he said.
