Usher in the festive season with SA’s top artists
Lira, Elvis Blue, Loyiso Bala and Matthew Mole are just some of the artists you can expect to see at Jacaranda FM and SPAR Carols by Candlelight .
JOHANNESBURG – Taking place at the Bidvest Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg on December 2 at 16:00, event starts at 19:00 to 21:00.
Entry is free but attendees are encouraged to bring a toy which will be delivered to three selected charity organisations after the event: Child Welfare Tshwane, Heartbeat and Hanna Charities.
According to Jacaranda FM’s General Manager, Kevin Fine: “With our annual Carols by Candlelight event we hope to spread some festive cheer not only to our loyal listeners but to those less fortunate too. Last year we were able to collect over 25 000 toys for children who wouldn’t have otherwise received a Christmas present. We hope to collect a lot more this year through our listeners’ generosity.”
The Jacaranda FM and SPAR Carols by Candlelight event is a firm favourite on the festive calendar.This year features a stellar line-up of top local acts including: Lira, Elvis Blue, Loyiso Bala, Ross Learmonth, Matthew Mole, Blackbyrd and the Soweto Gospel Choir
