Massive tree blown to ground

JOHANNESBURG SOUTH: A gust of wind blew a massive tree to the ground, completely closing off Alwen West Street in Evans Park on November 25.

“We were notified about the tree blocking Alwen West at 16:00. The tree was blocking traffic in both directions, but fortunately no one was injured,” said Evans Park and Ormonde Zone Leader, Mohammed Rafiq Dhoda.
