New book launched in the South
Nestled against a rocky crown of hills known as ‘The Koppies’, was an old farmhouse….
LINMEYER – … looking much like a big barn in a kind of C shape. Not too much went on here these days, as the owners didn’t live here anymore, but a few staff members kept a small dairy farm going, booked horse rides for the occasional group of visitors, and based on what grew in the garden at the back, produced preserves, pickles and other goodies for a weekend farm stall.
This is the first chapter of Little Thatch goes Walkabout – Visions on the Highway, written by Severa Rech Cassarino and published by Vanessa Bertacco. The artwork is done by children who live in the South of Johannesburg.
