IT has been brought to the COURIER’s attention that vandals have recently been active in the Klipriviersberg Nature Reserve.
A concrete bench, which has been at the reserve for more than twenty years and was put in place to honour the memory of three people who devoted much of their lives to the upkeep of the reserve, has been smashed to pieces for no apparent reason.
As well as the smashed bench, two of the markers for walkers have also been broken.
“This is a great pity,” said Harry Meyer of Happy Hobblers walking group. “Vandalism is such a pointless exercise.”
